Five Things Science Can’t Explain

Science has contributed innumerable benefits tohuman life on planet Earth.
We should be deeply grateful for the hard work of scientists who dedicate their lives to loyal study of this discipline and the advantages scientific advances grant us.Due to its success, there is often a tendency to think that science can explain everything. Howeverthere are actually many things that science cannot prove. Here are five categories of truth that cannot be proven using the scientific method:

1) Existential Truth:

Science cannot prove that you aren’t merely a brain in a jar being manipulated to think this is all actually happening. (Think of something like in “The Matrix”.) It also cannot prove that the world wasn’t created 5 minutes ago with the appearance of age (and with fake memories in your head, and half-digested food in your stomach, etc). However it’s still rational to believe that our memories are true and that the world is real.

2) Moral Truth:

Science cannot prove that rape isevil. While it is possible to demonstrate, for example, that there are negative physical or psychological effects of rape, there is no scientific test that can prove it is evil. Science can describe how the natural world is, but moral truth carries an “oughtness” (how thingsshouldbe) about it that goes beyond what merelyis.

3) Logical Truth:

Consider the statement “Science is the only way to really know truth.” How could you prove that statement by science? It is actually self-refuting because there is no scientific test you could use to prove that it is true! Science cannot prove logic to be true because itassumesand requires logic in order for it to work.

4) Historical Truth:

Science cannot prove that Barack Obama won the 2008 United States presidential election. There is no scientific test we could perform to prove it. We could have an investigation if we wanted to confirm that he did actually win, but the method for proving historical truths is different from testing scientific truths since historical truths are by nature non-repeatable.

5) Experiential Truth:

Science cannot prove that your spouse loves you. When asked why so-and-so loves you, you may cite precedent (times when their behavior demonstrates their love for you) but this is a particular type of historical truth. There is no scientific test that can confirm a lifetime of experience of knowing a person.

None of this is meant to criticize science! There’s nothing wrong with the scientific methodfor testing the kinds of things it was meant to test. However, it would be a mistake to expect it to be able to test everything. There are more intellectual tools available to us than just science, and as the old saying goes, when all you’ve got is a hammer, everything begins to look like a nail! For the kinds of truth listed above, science is notdeficient in any way; it’s just not the right way to find those particular kinds of truth. To try to do so would be like trying to ascertain whether a banana is tasty by sticking it in your ear and listening to it; it’s simply the wrong method! There is one other kind of truth that cannot be proven or disproven by science. That’s because it is comprised of all of the other kinds of truth mentioned above mixed together:Religious truth. It does have a certain amount of overlap with science, when religion makes explicit claims about scientific fact, and when science makes explicit claims about religion. But the overlap tends to be rather small; in any case, true science and true religion, because they bothaim to describe reality, can never be in conflict. Why then does science often seem so straightforward and uncontroversial, whereas religion can be so difficultand contentious? It may have something to do with a fact hinted at earlier:Religious truth is multifaceted. It is comprised of science, logic, philosophy, history, ethics, and experience, all mixed together. It is, in a sense, a different kind of knowing, not ignorant the other kinds of truths, but requiring that they be studied together carefully.

The above 5 things cannot be proven by science as they say.

Was God an alien

It's a big Question that "Do God Exist in reality " ?I have a Opinion on that Our God whom we worship were Aliens/UFO better say Aliens/UFOsare our God . I have many Points supporting Gods are Aliens which i will discuss in later part of this Article and thus exist in but sarcastically.

For Instance, In All civilizations, God is Believed to reside up in Sky somewhere or Universe somewhere..( Does it Ring Something ? )Anything with very High Technology maybe termed Miracle and that's what Humans are fondof, and that's what they ancient mean though when they saw some spaceship, etcFor Instance , Jesus's Mother was a Virgin and suddenly she gets Pregnant ..( Effect of Artificial Womb, which was not present at that time) and Jesus takes Birth.I already Gave you guys 2 Points,
Now moving to other Points which i am going demonstrate now.

Points Proving God was an Alien/UFO :

1.Depiction of God as Astronauts by Ancient Civilizations :

Many Ancient civilizations like Sumerians used to Worship People ( or GOD)who came from skies. As i statedabove we humans have a niche for People coming from World we dont know and we start Worshiping him Like. Dont Believe me yet??Well, Consider this real incident.. "During World war 2 , a pilot crashed in Brazilian Rain forest and Native people of that area started to believe him as God, they even formed a Religion on him which consisted of Wreckage of plane as a Holy Object with his other objects like Cigar Case, etc

"So, People unknown to science are always fond of such things and same has happened with People of sumeria or Egypt, etc. I Posting some Pictures to prove myself.

2)Various Religious Text Books:

According to many religious TextBook there used be something like Flying Saucer. Take it Ramayana, where Chariots used to fly in which God used to sit.According to Book of Ezekiel which recounts a vision in which Ezekiel sees an immense cloud (Gas residue) that contains fire and emits lightning and brilliant light. It moves on as ,The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. The creatures were described as winged and humanoid( some Genetic Lifeform where Humanbody and Birds would have combined), they spedback and forth like flashes of lightning and fire moved back and forth among the creatures. The passage goes on to describe four shiny objects, each appearing like a wheel intersecting a wheel. These objects could fly and they moved with the creatures: "When the living creatures moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the living creatures rose from the ground, the wheels also rose. [ Courtesy : Wikipedia]

3)Ancient Religious Practices:

Many Ancient Religious Practices have justified that they used to follow some weird Practices and deities which included trying to immitiate their God ( better say Aliens ) . These Practices included Stretching head of their Children to immitiate looks of their God ( Aliens). Dont Believe me ?? check this Picture from wikipedia which shows Skull of a person of Nazca Civilization
Well, i hope you get mine message, what i am trying to convey. Why will people of any civilization try such act.??  It's Obvious to immitiate someone very Important, someone like whom they say God , someone who can perform Miracles , or someone like highly Brained Aliens.

4) Nazca LinesWell:

I am pretty sure that most of you are not familiar withNazca Lines.Well, Basically, these lines  are huge Drawings in desert of Peru, which was not possible by any means by humans of that time, stretching to 80 km . Why??Basically, These Lines are not simply lines but instead these huge Pictures of Monkeys, Spiders, etc, some even are 200 m long drawing which is not possible by today age Humans to even dont use Planes, etc to see what they have drawn and what they are drawing. Now, you must be wondering when they conducted this shit-ish art? Well, according to scholars , it was is mid of 400 AD. But Why they did so stupid work??Basically, their aim was to be seen by Gods flyingin Sky( Sounds rather Fishy to me). Amazing Partis all of the Pictures are representation of some constellation ( how come these old people knew about constellations and their Shapes). Now, are you getting where i am trying to get??

5)artifacts and crop circles:

I will not go further with this as you all familiar with this.

Well, I hope You all like mine This post. Please comment down there to show  that you liked it or share it with friends or subscribe to us.

Creators of universe science or god

A number of sceptics ask this question . But God by
definition is the uncreated creator of the universe , so the
question ‘ Who created God ?’ is illogical , just like ‘ To
whom is the bachelor married ?’
So a more sophisticated questioner might ask : ‘ If the
universe needs a cause , then why doesn ’ t God need a
cause? And if God doesn ’ t need a cause , why should the
universe need a cause?’ In reply , Christians should use
the following reasoning :
1. Everything which has a beginning has a cause. 1
2. The universe has a beginning.
3. Therefore the universe has a cause.
It ’ s important to stress the words in bold type . The
universe requires a cause because it had a beginning , as
will be shown below . God , unlike the universe , had no
beginning, so doesn ’ t need a cause. In addition, Einstein’ s
general relativity , which has much experimental support,
shows that time is linked to matter and space . So time
itself would have begun along with matter and space.
Since God , by definition , is the creator of the whole
universe , he is the creator of time . Therefore He is not
limited by the time dimension He created, so has no
beginning in time — God is ‘ the high and lofty One that
inhabiteth eternity’ ( Is . 57 :15 ) . Therefore He doesn ’ t have
a cause.
In contrast , there is good evidence that the universe had a
beginning. This can be shown from the Laws of
Thermodynamics , the most fundamental laws of the
physical sciences .
1 st Law : The total amount of mass - energy in the
universe is constant .
2 nd Law : The amount of energy available for work is
running out , or entropy is increasing to a maximum.
If the total amount of mass - energy is limited , and the
amount of usable energy is decreasing , then the universe
cannot have existed forever , otherwise it would already
have exhausted all usable energy — the ‘ heat death’ of the
universe . For example , all radioactive atoms would have
decayed , every part of the universe would be the same
temperature , and no further work would be possible . So
the obvious corollary is that the universe began a finite
time ago with a lot of usable energy , and is now running
down .
Now , what if the questioner accepts that the universe had
a beginning, but not that it needs a cause? But it is self -
evident that things that begin have a cause— no - one really
denies it in his heart . All science and history would
collapse if this law of cause and effect were denied . So
would all law enforcement , if the police didn ’ t think they
needed to find a cause for a stabbed body or a burgled
house . Also , the universe cannot be self - caused — nothing
can create itself , because that would mean that it existed
before it came into existence , which is a logical absurdity.
In Summary
The universe ( including time itself ) can be shown to
have had a beginning.
It is unreasonable to believe something could begin to
exist without a cause.
The universe therefore requires a cause, just as
Genesis 1: 1 and Romans 1: 20 teach .
God , as creator of time , is outside of time . Since
therefore He has no beginning in time , He has always
existed , so doesn ’ t need a cause .
Objections
There are only two ways to refute an argument :
1. Show that it is logically invalid
2. Show that at least one of the premises is false .

Religion

The Theory: Though the theory varies greatly from religion to religion, most of them believe that there is a being or beings greater then anything else in the universe that created the earth. It is still generally accepted in western civilization that there is a god.The facts: We find ourselves at another paradox, there is no way to prove or disprove any religion. Many believers in their religion will often say god is testing us as he has faked much of the things we see in history. Such as dinosaur bones being millions of years old. However skeptics usually point out other facts, such as the second you accept one religion you are literally rejecting thousands of others. Skeptics will also point to the overwhelming evidence that all so-called effects of prayer can be explained through mere coincidence. Theywill also point to errors in the Bible writings, and problems with the whole ideaof heaven in general. Despite this evidence many people continue to worship their gods. Skeptics generally believe that religion was established for one of two reasons. Reason one because people were scared and looked for a way to say this life isn’t all you get. The secondreason is that people were confused and tried to come up with an answer as to why and how all this stuff got here, so they came up with the ideas of gods. None the less following certain things from certain religions isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The one common thing you will find in all religions usually written in different words but with the same meaning: do unto otherswhat you would want others to do to you. A fine motto to live by.

Comment what you think.

welcome intro

Hey guys I am aksis just a student in in science stream always wondered how things work and how to create balance, peace in society. I will not say that I  don't believe in God  but through my perspective I believe in Good energy and bad energy. Energies that flow around us.

Science is not only compatible with
spirituality; it is a profound source
of spirituality. When we recognize
our place in an immensity of light‐
years and in the passage of ages,
when we grasp the intricacy,
beauty, and subtlety of life, then
that soaring feeling, that sense of
elation and humility combined, is
surely spiritual. So are our
emotions in the presence of great
art or music or literature, or acts of
exemplary selfless courage such as
those of Mohandas Gandhi or
Martin Luther King, Jr. The notion
that science and spirituality are
somehow mutually exclusive does a
disservice to both..
